The other half spoke to me as if I was incapable to understating the concept of replacement windows; one even questioned my ability to afford the windows.

I reached out to an industry professional who recommended United Builders and Rick. Who I said, never heard of them and so started my barrage of questions. Finally after a detailed conversions; i began to research Rick and his outfit. I called Rick and he was open and informative, I asked him baited questions (cause by now i was a replacement window expert with in-depth knowledge of the Anlin product). He was clear, informative and HONEST ……… He was truly the first person I felt comfortable with to invite him to come to my home and give an estimate.When Rick arrived he was pleasant and approachable (however I think it was more to do with his accent), he went through his presentation and explained the benefits of his organization and the product he installs. Now it all sounded to good to be true but my gut was comfortable so onward we went. He did a measurement of my windows and doors (43 windows and 3 sliders) and gave me an estimate. If I was not sitting I may have fallen over in shock …. What an amazing price; at least 20% cheaper then the so called volume discounters out there. But now off went my spidey senses; tingling all over. What comers does he cut to make this possible. NONE as I later found out. After the estimate he makes sure I have no more questions and off he goes. I sit on the estimate to see when he gets desperate enough to call and push for a contract; he doesn’t. Finally I call because I could not stand the suspense. Now he seems to do a lot of estimates so when I called and he remembers my name I was surprised. We speak a little more and I finally tell him that I am ready and we set a time. He comes over as arranged and we sign the papers; NO PRESSURE TACTICS, NO UP-SELL just a very friendly and comfortable experience. Finally the windows arrive accompanied by 5 guys .. They start to prep the house with protective cloth and start to remove the old windows. Their workmanship and expertise is evident from the beginning. Over the next four days these five guys worked in the most professional manner and always ready to answer questions. All my windows became a custom install as I had window frames on all four sides so they had to measure, cut, modify and trim each window before they went in ….. NO EXTRA CHARGES … I have nothing but respect for this guys and Rick; in fact everything they promised they delivered to my utmost (sometimes unreasonable) expectations. Sure I spent a small fortune but their is no another business or a team of guys I would rather have trusted my home to. After four days my home looks amazing, even in this heatwave the house feels cooler. His honesty, cander and a real need to provide the best service is clear; for the skeptics out there what you see and hear from him is REALLY what you get. If you don’t experience a meeting with this man then you are really missing out. His prices are amazing, his service outstanding and his installers just plain amazing. I have no hesitation is fully backing United Builders with my endorsement; they really standby their service and products and will not sell you anything you do not need. My brother in law saw their work and had Rick submit a proposal; he was so impressed with the work that they did for me and by Rick’s simple no nonsense approach that he signed the contract on the spot; he is now patiently waiting fro his 35 windows too. We all can and do make mistakes but Rick and his team really take every precaution to make sure they avoid as many as possible but will certainly make sure they correct what they miss. These guys did an amazing job and Rick and his team gave me an outstanding experience and value for money. Rick I wish you and your team the very best success, your work speaks volumes and your honesty and integrity truly define you. Very happy to have met you and to have done business with you and your amazing install team …. Yelpers; I apologize for this long review but I wanted to make sure I didn’t leave anything out.

As to noise, we live near the freeway. Our house is also a two-story house so the upstairs in summers is always hot. You may ask, what does this have to do with windows … a lot.

This year we decided the time was financially right for us to purchase new windows, and thus we began our research. We initially contacted other vendors, but the price point in relation to the quality of the windows they provided felt too high. We finally found Rick, the owner of United Builders through the Next Door website. We were surprised how many neighbors had purchased windows with him. We reached out to him. He was exceptionally accessible and he was easy to arrange to meet with us. In meeting with him, he went over his product and we were pleasantly surprised with the quote he provided. We went with it and it turned out to be a great choice. The entire process of having our windows replaced was well coordinated. First, his representative (Lazaro) came out to our place to take all measurements. He was great because he provided excellent recommendations on how to have windows open in order to maximize ventilation throughout our home. He was professional and courteous. Then came the installation. We were thoroughly impressed. The crew of five installers were exceptionally efficient, took great care in moving blinds, furniture and in covering areas of the floor where heavier work had to be applied such as the removal and replacement of the sliding door. The only hiccup was that two windows arrived broken due to moving while being delivered to our home. We easily were able to contact Rick and he explained how they would go about fixing the matter. True to his word, the two broken windows were replaced within three days. After all the windows were installed, the installers swept all debris, reinstalled all the blinds, placed all furniture back and in truth left everything as it was before they arrived. In addition, they were courteous and respectful while working in our home. After all windows were installed, a thorough walk through was done for all windows. Ariel, the installer wanted to ensure that we were happy. Mind you, this was 19 windows and one sliding door we purchased, and for him to go through each one was appreciated. Classy and professional! That night we immediately felt the effects of the new windows. Most immediately, no more freeway noise at night! Secondly, within the week we noticed the home not heating up so much with a more consistent temperature throughout the entire house and not just in certain pockets. Aesthetically, the windows look sharp. No smudges or sloppy work on the seals and borders of the windows. It was truly nice work on the installations. And the windows allow a real nice clear light in the home. It’s noticeable. If you are like us, wanting to upgrade but with concerns on finding the right windows and installers, we highly recommend Rick and his company. He was true to his word in that all aspects of the installation and the product would be to our liking. We feel somewhat relieved to have had this job done well and that we have a product that is reliable and already contributing to the comfort and efficiency of our home.
